The Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers is one of the nation’s oldest state criminal bar associations. Since 1973, our members have worked tirelessly to educate lawyers and act as a voice for the bar and for the criminally accused before the judicial, legislative, and executive branches.

Through our Online Community, The Writ, CLE programs, For the Defense, locally based Roundtables, Board of Directors’ committee work, and the Trial College, TACDL has established itself as the recognized statewide authority, resource, and centralized hub for effectively addressing issues impacting the criminal defense bar and the criminally accused.
